Last weekend we went with five more dogs from us: Corina, Florica and Fanel to Germany and Tessa and Frieda to Holland. It was a long and exhausting road but the satisfaction to take the dogs to their families outgrown any problem. We’ve stopped first in Passau (Germany) where we were about to meet Florinca’s adopters. They came and the Police came also so we were checked for: the number of dogs, association’s documents (that were translated into English and German), passports, legality of our organization and of the right to transport animals for adoption, cages cleanliness, food and water, adoption contract and as everything was perfect, they where nicely impressed and wished us a safe trip. We thank Florica’s adopters (now Lili) for their love for this soul they’ve waited for patiently and we thank them too for the food they gave us for APAM animals. Till we’ve reached at Nicola we had another meeting, with Fanel’s new parents who impressed us with how emotive they were when they received their boy. We also thank Adela and her husband for the food and the presents they offered us and we are convinced that Fanel will have a dream life. We’ve reached in the middle of the night at Nicola and Stefanie who expected us, as usual, with open arms. We don’t have enough words to thank them for everything that are doing for us and for the animals, they are some very special persons and we appreciate them very much. In the morning we left to Holland at Lin and Tracy’s farm where we were about to meet with Tessa and Frieda’s adopters.
Here we were impressed by the wonderful gesture of placing APAM banner on the street and the warm welcoming they’ve made us. We had the surprise to find out that they are also vegetarians and we have a lot of life ideas in common. We’ve met again our dear Karina (now Pebbles) sitting like a princess on her bunk in the house at air conditioning, we’ve found out how well she did on her first swimming lesson and how happy and loved she is. We were also glad to meet the future parents of Tessa and Frieda who assured us they will make their life very happy and full of love and we thank them for choosing to save dogs from Romania.
Before departure Lin and Tracey filled us with food for the animals and we were very happy to meet such a large and special family who offered their home so we can have relaxant and pleasant meetings with adopters. In the afternoon we came back at Nicola and late at night we left loaded with packages gathered by Nicola and Stefanie, special food donated by Liane and Alexandra to whom we thank from all our heart. After another 1400 km we came back home, happy that we’ve succeeded again to take dogs to their families, full of packages, food and presents. We thank a lot to all the persons that through their donations helped us to fix the car and so other dogs are having now a family and a happy life ahead.
